Every dream for a life on the road is unique which is why our interiors are too. From cosy underfloor heating and upstairs sleeping, to recycled ocean plastic worktops and mobile coffee units, we have you covered. Add, swap and choose everything you need and nothing you don’t. Modular between vans, here are some of our clients’ custom creations so far…
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter L2H2
Would you believe this airy conversion has it all? An indoor shower, hot running water, toilet, dual hob, upstairs bedroom, natural wool insulation, underfloor heating and the kitchen sink. The custom made open shelving system keeps crockery and glassware secure and easy to access, all the time. Under the locally upholstered sofas is plenty of room to store clothes, bedding and amenities; there is also a fully kitted-out shower under there, replete with tray, shower and a wee dish for your soap. Fit for an avid surfer travelling in all seasons, we’ve maximised warmth coming from the underfloor thanks to the floor to module gap. The rooftop bedroom accommodates for the night owl and early bird, so downstairs can chirp away, with upstairs undisturbed.

Volkswagen Transporter LWB
This minimalist weekender interior picks up all the essentials for the basic living needs of two adults; a compact kitchen, portable table for eating and working, modular seating area with storage underneath and spacious double bed for two. The seating area converts into the sleeping area in under a minute and click in click out modules can be rearranged around the frame or removed entirely, for a multifunctional van. Materials were consciously considered, from hardwearing, locally spun and woven Harris Tweed® Cloth, to lightweight natural poplar ply. Airy removable canvas baskets allow for a flexible storage solution and a lighter van. Raw finishes and paired down tones create a bright and airy setting, extending on from the landscape and encouraging a positive connection with the natural environment.
Adaptable to any van, this fit-out saves fuel in its current van and will maximise range in an electric van in the future.
Volkswagen Transporter SWB
We have something for everyone and this interior suits the needs of two friends on the road; two single beds, two tables, a spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen, and toilet. The client selected recycled ocean plastic for her worktops (customised with fragments she’d collected from the beach), add-on curved edges, brushed frame and versatile backrests that double up as two single beds. Interchangeable modules can move in and out of any van, deliver an ever-evolving layout on the road or can be removed for a flexible van space. Solar power delivers running water, touch sensitive lighting, and generous charge for devices and the van battery.
